Manifesto

In the past decade, crypto and web3 have promised to revolutionize finance, ownership, and digital interaction. Yet despite technological breakthroughs, one fundamental element remains neglected: the user experience.

Products designed to be open and decentralized often end up being opaque, intimidating, and inaccessible to the very people they aim to empower. Users are forced to navigate complicated wallets, opaque transaction flows, unclear reward systems, and interfaces that assume technical expertise rather than inviting true adoption.

We believe that great design is not optional — it is a critical layer of trust, growth, and long-term success. Good UX is what transforms protocols from niche experiments into everyday tools. It is what builds bridges between developers, founders, and global communities.

Degen.design exists to make crypto user experiences visible, comparable, and understandable. We are documenting flows not just to showcase design patterns, but to reveal where friction lives, where clarity thrives, and where opportunities to build trust are being missed.

By analyzing and sharing these flows publicly, we aim to raise the standard across the industry. We want to give teams the clarity and insight they need to improve, and inspire new builders to prioritize the human side of their technology.

This is not a closed report. It is an open and evolving resource. A public statement.

Crypto deserves better design.

Users deserve better experiences.

And we are here to help build that future.
